Business Development Manager

We're looking for a highly motivated business development manager to drive substantial revenue growth.  The successful candidate will have the ability to create, develop and manage a pipeline of run rate business, prioritising key opportunities and delivering against quarterly targets.

The candidate will have a firm understanding of a solution-based sales process, understand key business challenges and address these opportunities with the appropriate Blue Eye Deer products and services.

The candidate will also display the ability to successfully negotiate and close business contracts.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills will lead to strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.  The candidate is required to build internal relationships and work collaboratively with both technical and commercial peers.

You must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fluid environment.  Your passion for our client's success will be important to maintaining focus and drive.

Functional Responsibilities:

Driving revenue growth, through identifying, developing and closing new business against set quarterly targets.

Identifying trends and opportunities in the market, providing this intelligence back to the business to drive both strategy and product growth.

You are the face of Blue Eye Deer; you build trust through delivering on your promises.  Clients should view Blue Eye Deer as the leading choice for Marketing and Advertising Services.

You will have good prospecting skills and a knack for cold calling to generate meetings with new clients.

You will also be able to identify and qualify opportunities, with the ability to be able to prioritise the most lucrative and probable ones.

You have outstanding verbal and written skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships. Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills are a must.

With good organisational skills, you will be required to maintain an internal CRM and provide accurate and realistic forecasting to the business.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Ideally you will have 5 years of successful sales experience with a solution-based sales background.

  • Proven pipeline management – Prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing deals.

  • The ability to identify and understand business challenges and offer tangible solutions to these.

  • Self motivated with a strong work ethic.

  • Strong verbal and written communicator.
