Client Project Manager 

We're looking for a highly motivated individual who is confident managing and dealing with clients, internal staff and freelancers. To start out, you will undergo training and learn our systems and processes before soon taking on responsibilities of your own.

Your role will ultimately be to organise and manage projects and retainer-based work, ensuring that we keep to set budgets and timelines. This will also include the scheduling and planning of internal and freelance resources on an on-going basis. The purpose of this is to ensure that all work is done quickly, effectively and efficiently.

The other half of your role will be to manage some of Blue Eye Deer’s existing clients, ensuring they are happy and to look for new opportunities to provide value with our services. 

You will work alongside the Content Manager to assist with managing client relationships along with driving retainer and project-based work. You will also be required to assist with the production of marketing outputs and administration tasks as required. 

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work as an individual and as part of the team. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment. 

You will have excellent attention to detail, be analytical and have good numeracy skills. 

The successful candidate will need to be passionate about helping our client's and the business succeed. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Planning, organising and scheduling internal and external resources 

  • Driving projects and retainer-based work

  • Managing client relationships with key stakeholders

  • Assisting with project and retainer-based outputs

  • Performing administrative tasks as required 

  • Client and customer research projects

  • Assisting other staff to ensure that Blue Eye Deer is always delivering excellence to existing and prospective customers


  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, Sales or similar

  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal)

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Detail-oriented individual

  • Good understanding of different digital channels (training will also be provided)

  • Ability to work by yourself and as part of a team

  • Hungry to learn and participate in your own development as a professional
