Social Media

If Olivia Newton John wrote her song Physical today, I’m pretty sure she would have replaced the lyric with “social”. Now, I bet two things have just happened. One, you’re singing that song ~ “Let’s get physical/social…” or you’re a millennial, you’re thinking who the **insert expletive** is Olivia Newton John.

The point is social media it’s here, if you haven’t LinkedIn, Facebooked, Tweeted, Snapped, Messengered or Instagrammed then let's face it you probably checked out at Olivia Newton John. If you’re a prodigious socialite and need some help with your social marketing then click below. For the rest…..”lets get social, we wanna get social, with you…..”

Social media has to be a part of your overall marketing strategy, whether it’s B2B, B2C or anything in between, social media can help create the right user experience, build trust with both users and search engines and create opportunities for engagement with your brand - which you may not have had through traditional channels. Don't know about you, but I've never seen someone talking to a billboard?

But we hear you! Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start, like what’s important like? Is it growing your users, engagement or any other myriad of measurables.

Well…….we scoured the internet to find some useful thought starters to help guide you in the right direction….here they are:

  • Select the channel e.g. Facebook, Instagram etc.
  • Who is the message for - think targeting
  • What is the goal - is it awareness, conversions or enhance an experience?
  • What type of content should you use video, images or infographic?
  • What is the tone? How does this integrate with other channels?
  • What is the desired action that you want users to take?

There you have it, now do this across all your social media properties….yikes!!! That could be quite a bit you say? Well that’s where we can help. Grab our guide on how to brief an agency like ours or just get in touch and see how we can help you out.

So lets get social, let us hear your social talk…...thanks Olivia.
